I’m soul proud to finally reveal the new logo: YERBERA! Yerbera comes from the Spanish word yerba (herb) and refers to someone who works with healing plants. As we grow beyond probiotics, Yerbera more closely reflects our deeper commitment to holistic wellness.

In Taíno culture, the indigenous people of Puerto Rico, healing practices were intertwined with spirituality, community, and nature. Women often played central roles as healers, midwives, and custodians of herbal knowledge.

This figure is inspired by a traditional Taíno petroglyph often called the “Woman of Caguana,” or frequently interpreted as a representation of Atabey, the Taino mother goddess associated with womanhood, fertility, fresh water, and the moon — all sources of life, nourishment, and creation. For a wellness brand, there couldn’t be a more meaningful foundation. Our ancestors understood that women, plants, and the earth all share the same purpose: to give life and sustain it. This design is a tribute to that wisdom and a celebration of my heritage. It was an honor to see beautifully translate this ancient symbol into a modern design that preserves its ancestral power.

Let Yerbera be a reminder that wellness begins with our roots. She honors the people who came before us and the natural medicine they lived by.
