On the night of September 7, 2025, the sky will stage one of natureβs most spectacular events: a Total Lunar Eclipse. As the Moon passes into Earthβs shadow, it will glow in eerie shades of deep red β creating whatβs known as the Blood Moon.
β¨ Why does it turn red?
During the eclipse, sunlight is filtered through Earthβs atmosphere. Blue light scatters, while red and orange tones pass through, painting the Moon in fiery colors.
π Where can it be seen?
Visible across much of the world, especially in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
β° How long will it last?
The total eclipse phase will last about 1 hour and 22 minutes β plenty of time to enjoy the view.
