I’ve decided to donate those balloons to a local women’s shelter.
See… it’s easy to choose what’s convenient. The convenient thing would’ve been to pop them and throw them away.
But today reminded me of where my family and I once were homeless in Florida when we first immigrated to this country over 20+ years ago.
My mother instilled in me the importance of humility, kindness, and simply being a decent human being… to love your neighbor and help when you can.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
This Mother’s Day, I hope you remember that this world needs you more than you know.
Whether you’re mourning the loss of a mother, sister, cousin, or friend… I hope you also hold onto the beautiful memories, the laughter, the love, and the moments that made them special to you.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
And if you’re fortunate enough to still have your mother here, I hope you cherish the good moments, the little things, and the love you share.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
