Illuminating Hope Counseling, LLC

My name is Tiphani Fillingim and I am the owner of Illuminating Hope Counseling, LLC. I have been working in the field of Social Work since 2013 after graduating from USI with my Masters in Social Work. I have experience working with individuals struggling with mental health and addiction, ranging from school aged children to adults of any age. I also specialize in marriage and family therapy. Working in a variety of settings has given me experience with a multitude of diagnoses and problems. I believe everyone deserves a second chance in life and to take back control over what was once lost. I have experience working with individuals who struggle with Mental Health and Addictions. I use a solution focused approach with Motivational Interviewing, DBT, CBT, and TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- specifically for children). I also use Matrix programming to address addictions and substance abuse. Therapy is a unique and individual experience that can offer help to those in need and provide hope for the future. Therapy can be uncomfortable and a little scary, but if you are motivated and ready for change it is well worth it. Lastly, therapy can help challenge us to grow, gain new perspectives, and learn healthy ways to cope with life's curveballs.
