Unpopular opinion: January is NOT a good time to start exercising more, change your lifestyle, or create a brand new you. It's actually the worst time.
Why? Because January is for rest.
Following nature's lead, January is when the trees rest. The grass is dormant. The critters burrow and hibernate. They rest in order to conserve energy, not deplete it.
Late February is when we begin to sense spring is on the way. It's also the best time to create a plan for a healthier lifestyle. Small steps, guided wellness habits, and gentle movement... all while meeting you exactly where you are.
Because starting only requires saying yes to yourself. With love.
