Massage Therapy should be more accessible, period. There is no fluff and buff about it. I finally received my NPI number after a wonderful experience with (where I received my orthopedic massage training. Im so happy I took this step. I hope to go back to keep on learning more as things do change with what we know overtime) The learning never ends, this is preventative maintenance, for the sake of our state of being, for the sake of our wellbeing and for the sake of our bodies longevity to keep us moving throughout life.

Don’t wait till the very last moment to take care of yourself. Especially if you’re constantly on the go, sitting at a desk all day, an athlete or recovering from a sports or muscle overuse injury.

There is no fluff and buff about it. Receiving massage monthly improves the health of our muscles + joints to maintain our ability to keep moving + grooving and maintain range of motion.

The way we take care of ourselves today, impacts the way we will move + feel in the future. This is our only vessel. Prioritizing our wellbeing, creating a self-care routine towards our individual specific goals to keep on being, is a powerful act of self-love and preservation. 🕯️

It takes consistency to unwind the layers from chronic tension. Repetitive motion is often the culprit, but it’s also in tandem with how we process our experiences that can often lead to chronic pain too. Sometimes it can feel discouraging for some who want to get the process over with, something that’s fast and quick but that only adds more tension when we try to rush. Don’t negate what you feel within or push yourself to the wayside, this is your time to unwind, to meet yourself where you’re at.

There is no fluff and buff about it. The body is our first and only vessel and just like cars we need maintenance to make sure we can keep on moving and being too. 🌀

The support you give yourself matters. Practicing self-care with passive modalities to allow yourself time to unwind plays a specific role in helping you maintain your wellbeing after being active. Strengthening your muscles to support your bodies specific movement in tandem with massage therapy to unwind is vital if we are to keep on moving as we age.

**Trigger Warning: personal experience: c-ptsd recovery and somatic healing**

Massage provides more than just a physical benefit to keep on with our active lives. Massage can also provide a deep benefit to reset our nervous system. Our body/mind does hold all the information, within the fascia and muscles, etc. it’s all connected. I am still on this journey, I want to protect my mental wellbeing putting this out on social media but I also think it’s important to share if it resonates for you. Long story short, I struggle with c-ptsd(CSA, SA) but I’ve come a long way. From the depths of my soul being if it weren’t for being committed to receiving massage, diving into yoga and therapy to reconnect my body/mind/soul. I don’t believe I would be where I am today.

The deep impact of allowing your humanity to flow, to dive into self-care and to ask yourself what you want and what you don’t want, especially when it comes to your massage session is a profound healing experience.

The reality is, it can be a deep internal struggle to allow ourselves to receive selfcare. Sometimes theres this deep internal war in allowing yourself to receive positive healing touch. When for so long the experience with touch was negative. But something happens when we try. Even just practicing at home self-massage and yoga can overtime become a transformative and liberating experience wherever it leads you. Massage, yoga, reiki are all deeply healing somatic modalities that I believe we can all benefit from.

Here to create a peaceful realm of safety, making a comfortable space for you to step away from the external noise so you can have your time to unwind and drop in as you are. I love this work, this is my passion and a subject that’s continues to deepen my hearts drive. Thankful to be able to 🌀
