Today we celebrated Kim with a special going-away potluck, and what a beautiful reflection of our team it was — 15 different dishes representing the many cultures that make our workplace so unique. 🌍🍲

Kim, your warmth, hard work, and spirit have left a lasting mark on all of us. While we’re sad to see you go, we’re excited for you as you return home to Guam and begin this next chapter.

We’re excited to introduce in-house Therapy Services at Regency Newcastle—now available not only to our current and future residents, including respite stays, but also to the greater Newcastle community!

Our dedicated therapy team brings over 30+ years of combined experience across a wide range of specialties, including outpatient and inpatient care, skilled nursing, neuro stroke rehabilitation, orthopedics, and hand therapy.

• Jennifer Wharton, PTA / Clinical Lead
• Elena Loong, OTR

Jenny and Jennifer are also LSVT BIG certified, offering specialized programs (virtual, in-person, or online) designed to improve mobility and daily function for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions.

What truly sets this team apart is their passion. They are committed to helping every individual stay active, reduce discomfort, and maintain independence—because movement is key to living well.

We had a wonderful and festive Kentucky Derby Happy Hour! 🐎🌿

We served up refreshing mint juleps made with mint straight from our garden—nothing beats that fresh, homegrown flavor.

A special thank you to one of our favorite entertainers, Bob Cerelli, for bringing the energy and fun to the afternoon. A heartfelt appreciation to our amazing community gardeners, Lisa and Cindy, for growing and cultivating the beautiful herbs, flowers, and plants that make our space so special for everyone to enjoy.
