At Sweetleaf Massage Studio every massage is tailored to you so that you can mix and match diff

Each massage will work to lower stress, increase circulation, promote tissue regeneration, enhance immunity, and relieve discomfort with long, slow, and soothing strokes. I’ve had quite a few “no shows” lately so I just wanted to remind you all of my cancellation policy. Please note that during this time there will not be a cancellation fee if you are cancelling because you aren’t feeling well. Stay safe & healthy.

“Dear valued clients, I strongly believe that your time is valuable as is mine. Considering that I commute over from Rapid City and in an effort to better serve each and every one of you, I have adopted the following policies:

Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice will be charged a cancellation fee of 1/2 the service amount scheduled.

Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.

I am extremely grateful for your business and ask that you please respect the scheduling policies.”

Thank you for your understanding

Hey everyone! Just checking in with the latest updates regarding the re-opening of Sweetleaf Massage Studio. Starting Monday I will be contacting each and every one of you to start getting you rescheduled. I plan on re-opening on the 15th.

Keep in mind, I do commute over from South Dakota so if you are uncomfortable rescheduling with me at this time I completely understand. I would also like you to be thoughtful about your whereabouts and activities if you are choosing to come in. I appreciate any and all honesty. I will be willing to waive any cancellation fees. Please cancel your appointment and do not come in if: You are feeling sick at all- running nose, cough, sore throat, fever, chills (YOU KNOW WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL GOOD)

I will be rescheduling appointments in order of where I left off on my schedule because I feel like that’s the only fair way to go about it. My availability/schedule will be extremely limited and also spaced apart to provide time for my commitment of sanitizing and cleaning between each session so please bear with me. Masks or facial coverings will be required, I will update you if that changes prior to your appointment.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to get everyone in all at once, however; I am looking forward to seeing you all! Thank you for your continued patience and support.

Hello my fellow humans! Today is such a beautiful day. I hope you all have been able to take the time that you need to nurture, support, and focus on yourself during this unprecedented time. I also hope that you’ve been able to find peace in slowing down.

As I’m sure you all know, yesterday Gov. Gordon began easing some restrictions in the public health order. However, there are still certain restrictions and operational requirements that need to be followed. Questions remain for a business environment such as mine. When should I re-open my doors? How can I safely resume operation? There are several key factors to consider without much factual information to rely on.

When I began this journey as a massage therapist, I took an oath to ‘do no harm’ and I’ve always adhered to this policy. Client safety and satisfaction are extremely important to me. My feelings of wanting to get back to work and wanting to keep you safe seem contradictory in this situation. Not only do I want to continue my part in slowing the spread of this virus, but I also believe my services would be inhibited with the latest guidelines set in place. With all of this in mind, I do not currently believe I can comfortably offer the quality of service that each and every one of you deserve, which is a priority to me.

I'm making the tough decision to stand by and allow time and space for the dust to settle. This has been a heavy-hearted and difficult choice to make. It is also the best that I can do for peace of mind at this time. I hope to be able to start easing back in, tentatively sometime between May 15th and June 1st. There will be limited times available so please bare with me as I try to figure out the best way to navigate this. I will be in touch with all of you to reschedule when the time comes. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I appreciate your continued understanding and support. I genuinely hope you are doing well, and I hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,

Shayna Schouten

Here’s an update for all of my awesome clients. I will be closed until at least April 17th due to the statewide health order. I look forward to getting in touch regarding rescheduling as soon as a reopening date becomes more clear. Thank you for being so patient and understanding through all of the chaos. I am eager to see all of you again and to resume business as usual. Stay safe & healthy.

I am extending the three existing statewide health orders through April 17 to of community transmission of COVID-19 and protect lives. I understand the ongoing strain these measures are having on businesses, workers and Wyoming communities. But it is imperative our citizens respond to this public health crisis by staying home whenever possible and practicing proper social distancing when they must go out. This is how we can save lives and protect people’s health.

Due to precautionary measures Sweetleaf Massage Studio will be closed until at least April 6th. I will be contacting my clients that are scheduled within the next 2 weeks to cancel appointments & I will reschedule when a reopening date becomes more clear. I will continue to update all of my clients along the way. Thank you for your support and understanding during this uncertain time. ♥️ ...

“ATTENTION- Clients of Sweetleaf Massage Studio and A’head of Our Time: We have come to the decision to go ahead and close our beautyshop and massage studio down for the recommended 2 weeks at this time. I know that there has been much confusion regarding the closing of beauty salons & spas in Wyoming during this COVID outbreak.... whether to close, lessen the amount of clients in the salon, and/or social distancing ourselves... But we have decided that it is in our community's best interest to keep our clients, coworkers, friends, families, and ourselves healthy at this time...Although, there have been no "reported" cases of COVID in our county at this time, does not mean that it is not here and will quickly spread ...We are aiming to be back up and running on Monday April 6th, unless we feel that it is still a health risk to open our doors...Marcie, Nora, and myself, will be contacting our clients that are scheduled for the next 2 weeks to cancel appointments...and we will keep all of our clients posted regarding when we are able to reopen..Thank you all for being patient with us girls at this time! Stay healthy and much love to our clients! Nora, Marcie, and Shayna❤❤❤”

I am sure that your feed has been bombarded with statements about COVID-19, also known as the "Coronaviris". I hate to be one more of those, but I thought that it would be best to share with you the precautions I am taking during this time. It is my hope that by doing so, I am able to do my best to help by providing massage and it's many benefits.

So here's what's happening in the studio:

Increased Sanitation - All surfaces. Countertops, door k***s, chairs, sinks, etc., are being disinfected between 4-6 times a day. Know that every time a client is on the table, fresh linens are used. I do use hand sanitizer during our sessions and have increased this use as necessary.

If you are sick - PLEASE stay home. You will be sent home if you are showing signs of sickness. I have clients of all ages and levels of health. Last minute cancellations may need to happen, and I completely understand. You canceling your session with me might cost me the hour, but me getting sick can put me out of work for days/weeks. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you thinking of me, my health and other clients when you cancel due to illness.

Please know that I am following recommended guidelines and doing my best to provide quality care. Remember to use universal precautions for sanitation, drink lots of fluids, get adequate rest, eat healthy foods and try to reduce stress. (Which might mean turning off the TV and picking up a good book, escape from the chaos of the world for a bit)

♥️

Unfortunately I’m no longer accepting new clients at this time. I want to be able to fully serve those I’m already committed to and don’t feel I could adequately do so by taking on more at this time.
If you would like to be added to a waiting list or have any questions or concerns please feel free to call, text or email me anytime.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
