Seeking a Grounds Keeper:
Hours per week are approximately 25 to 30 for April and May going down to around 15 to 20 for June through August. Sept. through Nov. are less as the growth of grass and w**ds slows down. Work consists mostly of lawn mowing, w**d eating and filling in graves with dirt after burials. Hours are inconsistent due to unpredictability of weather and burials. Our goals are to keep the resting places of our loved ones in great condition and helping families in their difficult times. Hours are inconsistent due to unpredictability of weather, burials and the installation of monuments. Our goals are to keep the resting places of our loved ones in great condition and helping families in their difficult times. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
WOODLAWN CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
NEWFIELD, NEW YORK

1. The placing of glass blocks, vases, or other glass containers, as receptacles for flowers, either artificial or natural, on graves or plots, is prohibited.
2. The Woodlawn Cemetery Association reserves the right to restrict the planting of shrubs and trees and to remove or trim any shrub or tree deemed dangerous to the public or which encroaches on an adjoin lot or lots.
3. No person shall be allowed to plant any trees, shrubs, bushes on any grave without written permission from the Board of Trustees after written application therefor.
4. No graves or foundations to be dug by any person not authorized by the Board of Trustees.
5. The Woodlawn Cemetery Association reserves the right to remove all flowers, wreaths, or other decorations from lots as soon as they become unsightly
