Our Costa Rica retreat this year was so amazing! Thank you to those who came and made it so! Such a great group of people, beautiful accommodations, amazing food and drinks, and so many laughs, fun experiences and excursions!

We just finished putting together the next retreat for December!

We're doing it near Dominical, Costa Rica Dec 14-22, 2025, and the place is exclusively ours! There are very limited spaces and only three rooms available.

We have private group transportation to and from the Quepos airport in Costa Rica, farm-to-table meals at the resort, salt water pool and hot tub, live music; hot tub/cabana movie night; game night; open yoga shala with a view of the jungle and the ocean; excursions with transportation to and from the resort.

Please welcome Krista to our team! She teaches Vinyasa Flow Yoga on Tuesdays at 7pm!
"Working out and living an active lifestyle was my regular, but stretching always seemed like something I could skip. I ended up throwing my back out when I turned 40 after doing a simple task the day before. That was an eye opening experience for sure.
I took my yoga teacher training, and it completely turned my world around! Yoga taught me the importance of form, controlled breath, and being able to silence the mind. As I started making yoga a part of my daily routine I began to notice that my back wasn't hurting and I was becoming stronger.
After experiencing such benefits from yoga I decided to make teaching yoga my main focus. I am dedicated to helping others live a pain-free life. I love hearing students say, 'that was just what I needed.' It truly brightens my soul to see others feeling good about themselves!"

Go straight in, and park in the lot on your right. We'll meet at the benches across from that parking lot at 9am and then go on the Towsley Short Loop (2.1 miles). https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/towsley-canyon-short-loop
The parade and road closures make parking in and around the studio nearly impossible, so this is a less stressful, and at this hour, a cooler option!

Roxy has been taking yoga classes on and off for over 20 years and loves the way it makes her feel, mind, body, and spirit. Before teaching yoga, she was a high school teacher and coach. Eight years ago, a 200-hour yoga teacher training became available, and she jumped at the opportunity. Going through the training not only allowed her to learn so much more about chakras, anatomy, postures, meditation, and sequencing but also helped her deepen her own practice. It was a beautiful reminder that all of us are growing every time we roll out our mat.

Yoga is a journey, not just a class to take. Roxy believes that yoga is a constant lesson, teaching you about yourself, your body, your needs, your challenges, and growing through the process. Yoga is also about community and helping others when we can along the way.

Roxy loves to try to incorporate life in her classes and always appreciates the energy and love others bring to the mat. She also believes in the healing powers of moving, breathing, and allowing yoga to transform your life.

She will be teaching Bikram 90 and also has experience teaching Vinyasa and Hatha style yoga, gentle yoga, Yin yoga, child and teen yoga, and other sequenced yoga classes. Roxy can’t wait to guide you through your practice at Hot for Yoga!

I love geeking out and seeing on the app what our solar panels produce live time to reduce our carbon footprint and benefit the environment!

🚘Driving reduced by 1,132,000 auto miles, or 57,732 gallons of gasoline.
♻️Recycling 1,789 tons of waste instead of sending it to landfill.
🏠Displacing CO2 emissions from the annual electric use of 64 homes.
🏭551,523 pounds (275.8 tons) of coal burned.
💧Help avoid the use of up to 13,797,500 gallons of water by Thermoelectric Powerplants.

Did you know.

Researchers at Colorado State University have produced some of the first scientific evidence that Bikram yoga, a type of "hot yoga," has beneficial effects on fitness

Brian Tracy, an associate professor in CSU's
Department of Health and Exercise Science,
presented his lab's findings at the national
conference of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Tracy's study builds on previous groundbreaking research from his lab. In 2008, he led the first scientific study on the physiological effects of Bikram yoga, published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, which found that muscle control, balance and strength were improved in a group of test subjects who had never tried Bikram yoga before!

Bikram Yoga is a beginner friendly practice. It is designed for anyone, even advanced practitioners.
