Research suggests suggests that a healthy individual individual can tackle at least five flights of stairs without grasping for air. On the other hand someone leading a more sedentary lifestyle may may find themselves puffing after just one or two flights.
So, here’s a challenge for you. How many flights can you climb before catching your breath? I recently pushed myself and managed 4 1/2 flights before feeling winded. It’s moments like these that make me truly appreciate the efforts I put into promoting a healthy lifestyle. I’m eager to hear about your stair climbing achievements. Healthy, tasty and delicious this sweet potato quinoa salad is a great side dish or light meat free meal. It’s fresh nourishing , perfect for all occasions and can be made ahead of time. I personally like to use quinoa , it is a versatile ingredient and very easy to cook. Packed with protein it’s a great alternative to rice. It’s Motivational Monday!
Today I’m excited to share my recent explorations in New England, specifically Booth Bay Harbor and Monhegan Island Maine.
Booth Bay Harbor, holds a special place in my heart with its water front views, charming restaurants and unique shops shops. It’s always brings a surge of joy and relaxation. The vibrant atmosphere there is truly captivating.
Venturing further to Monhegan Island , just a ferry ride away from Booth Bay was a delightful experience . The island exzudes a laid back vibe reminiscent of the hippie towns I saw in California during during my youth. The shops, cozy restaurants, awesome views and the great hiking trails make it a hidden gem worth discovering.
Both destinations left me in awe earning a solid A+ rating from me. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend to you. I look forward over the next few months to sharing more of my explorations with you of New England.

Calling on all peanut butter enthusiasts ( like myself)! This delectable smoothie is a must try , especially if you have a jar of peanut butter bittersweet in your pantry. Blend together frozen ripe banana, skim milk, plain nonfat yogurt, creamy peanut butter and Arbonne protein powder for a wonderful treat that’s also packed with protein.
