Happy !! 👀 Did you know that lighter eyes stay dilated for longer periods of time compared to darker eyes? Darker eyes have more pigment, and the dilating drops bind to pigment, thus causing the drops to become inactive quicker. No matter what color your eyes are, being dilated can be frustrating, as light sensitivity and blurred vision can last for hours. At Fox Run Eye Care, we use Optomap retinal imaging! This provides our doctors with a more inclusive image of the retina, helping us better detect any eye disease, tears, or holes.

Many people can relate to today's ... No one likes being surprised by a large puff of air, but testing eye pressures and early detection of glaucoma is important. Luckily for our patients, we have the iCare T100 Tonometer! This hand-held device measures eye pressure with minimal contact and is not as anxiety-inducing as the old puff of air test.
