WFSB recently reported on distressing incidents of rideshare drivers – Lyft, in this case – turning away passengers traveling with service animals. Service animals are essential for many people with disabilities, and the ADA requires that they be allowed in public spaces, which includes public transportation, taxis, and rideshare cars. Check out the article here: https://tinyurl.com/479eskrm

If you’re interested in gaining a better understanding of the rights of people with service animals, the Northeast ADA Center will be offering a free webinar, ‘Is That a Service Animal?’ on Tuesday, March 3, at 1 pm. Learn more and register at https://tinyurl.com/yv7ttmvj

The State of Connecticut has created a set of handouts that clearly explain accessible voting options. Check them out to educate yourself and share them with others, too! https://portal.ct.gov/sots/education/accessible-voting
