Staff put on a “show & tell” for residents today. Some highlights were Brianna’s marvelous artistic talents, Erin’s photos of custom woodwork furniture & a wild turkey feather with printout of factoids, Linda had multiple artifacts that were special to her (puzzle, Nancy Drew book, bubbles for fun, photos, etc), Kristin showcasing her interest in making jewelry, Melissa’s collection of coasters from places her family has traveled, & Simona made a trifold of her culture & home in Barbados. 🇧🇧 Thank you to all who participated & attended.

Patty O'Brian delivered a wonderful presentation today, titled Your Brain on Music, in which we engaged in singing songs and gained insight into the various brain regions and their respective functions.

It’s our family and friends Oktoberfest celebration at Cedar. We’re delighted to share our evening with you. Thank you to the dining and maintenance staff and our musician, John Banker. John played a variety of instruments, including the goat bells (from Switzerland), accordion, and euphonium. He also yodeled. We had great fun.
