Lights, Camera… INCLUSION! Is an inclusive Spring Fling event designed to provide a socialization opportunity for adults with intellectual developmental disabilities. The event is planned with sensory needs in mind, and we are offering it for two days to ensure that the crowd stays small!

Each of our IDD leaders at Pathways are being represented at the event with a movie we believe they would star in! Leslie, our Associate Director would be the Princess of Positivity! 🌈 💜

Congratulations to Omotayo for receiving the Employee of the Year Crisis Child Unit! He is always approachable, is an active listener and remains calm in crisis situations. He works to keep a positive attitude amongst the children admitted to the unit.

Congratulations, Bernice! She has won our Pathways Employee of the Year for the Spalding Clinic! Bernice is always willing to take on new projects such as serving Veterans, students and so many others. Her ability to relate to the Client and make them feel comfortable is a gift!

Two executive team members - Dr. Garcia and Dr. Pierce as well as our CEO Jade Benefield- attended and presented at the Carroll County Sequential Intercept Mapping Workshop this week!

The purpose of this workshop {for behavioral health and criminal justice sectors} was to:
- Increase understanding of available community resources
- Identify gaps and opportunities for improved coordination
- Establish priorities for future development

We appreciate being included in this important conversation and strive to make our communities healthier every day!

Our Cosmetology students at WGTC partnered with the Pathways Service Center in LaGrange to help pamper clients and feel confident with hair and nail services for the annual Night to Shine Prom! ✨

Pathways Service Center offers a range of services for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) to build skills, explore their communities and maintain employment.

“Events like this remind us that cosmetology is not only about beauty, but also about connection, compassion, and making a positive impact in our community," said Rebecca Knowles, WGTC cosmetology instructor.
