Keeping a Daily Gratitude Journal is a ther**eutic tool that can decrease depression and anxiety by shifting the mind from negative thoughts to positive thoughts/perspectives. Focusing on Gratitude can create a healthy mind and emotional stability. Grab a notebook or journal and start listing all of the things you are grateful for today. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Domestic Violence (DV) and Interpersonal Violence (IPV) are common, yet, abnormal occurrences in many US households. Hopelessness and helplessness are two emotions that often lead people to su***de. When a person has suicidal thoughts, they need support and empathy, not judgement. In the United States, su***de is the second leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 10-34 and the fourth leading cause of death among individuals between the ages of 35 and 44.
