👏👏 on this Tuesday for Sylvia!

“6 months ago, I decided to take a risk and walk through that door to Burn at one year postpartum with my second baby, and it has changed my life!
Before Burn, I was at my heaviest, deep in postpartum depression, and the least healthy version of myself I have ever been. I was a year into a Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis and felt like I had hit and wall and couldn’t do anything about it.
Now, just 6 months later, I am a new person! My energy levels are amazing, I’m able to chase after my kids and keep up, and I’m the strongest I’ve ever been! I have dropped 9% of my body fat, lost 15 pounds, gained 7 lbs of muscle (so far 💪), and managed to reverse my Type 2 Diabetes, coming off all my medications, in those 6 months! And I am just getting started!
Everyone should give Burn a try at least once! Walking through that door on day 1 is by far the hardest part, but it will be so worth it! My mental and physical health are at an all time high and I owe that all to the amazing trainers and community I have gained through Burn! 6 months ago, I would have never imagined I could be this version of me today 💙”

MARCH MOBILITY 🌿 90/90 Hip Flow

If your hips feel tight in squats, lunges, or even sitting cross-legged — this is where we start.

The 90/90 trains both internal AND external rotation of the hips. Most people only stretch one direction… and that’s why progress stalls.

• Sit tall — no collapsing through your chest
• Rotate slow and controlled

You should feel:

🌿 MARCH MOBILITY 🌿 WEEK 2: Thoracic Rotation

If your shoulders feel tight… your upper back is probably stiff.

This drill improves thoracic spine rotation, which directly impacts pressing, pulling, and posture.

Set up:
• Knees stacked
• Hips locked in place
• Arms straight
• Rotate slow

Only your upper back should move — not your lower back.

You should feel:
✔️ Mid-back opening
✔️ Chest stretch
✔️ Better breathing capacity

Control the rotation. Don’t force it.
