Just as a medical doctor runs a series of tests to gather the information they need to make an accurate diagnosis; a mental health professional uses psychological testing to accurately diagnose a mental health disorder.

Psychological testing can help a psychologist gain clarity about your diagnosis. If you’re not entirely sure what’s going on, why you’re feeling the way you're feeling, or if you just want to know more about how your brain works, testing can help you figure it all out! The more that’s understood about a person’s mental health, the more effective their treatment will be.

We work with every family to develop a custom therapy program for each child based on their specific needs, strengths, and goals. Our child therapists incorporate a variety of techniques based on each family and child’s individual needs including CBT, DBT, play, etc. Though sometimes, the best thing we can do is simply be a consistent, trusted adult that your child or teen can feel safe with and confide in.

Our founder Dr. Surina Mazzola, and our clinician Dr. Keith Bonnes had the privilege of speaking yesterday at the Mother’s Together event for the community!

At the event they announced our new parenting group “Oxygen Mask”. This group, led by Dr. Mazzola and Dr. Bonnes, is designed to help strengthen family systems and equip parents and caregivers with practical strategies for long terms success.
