Today is birthday, and there's so much that we could write here. Liz just celebrated seven years with us last month. We’re not the biggest math fans here, but that means she joined our family all the way back in 2018 (which seems like a lifetime ago) at this point.

How she came to join us is no different than your cliche modern-day love story.

Liz first started her career in aesthetics in 2015 and has been in the industry ever since. From the start, she was a per diem clinical trainer for one of the top laser device companies, training doctors and nurses how to use devices safely and effectively. We were lucky enough to ‘steal’ her away from that company, and she has been giving out patients stunning results ever since.

Through all the changes, growth, and a pandemic, Liz has been there for us, and we cannot explain how much she means to us and our family. Liz, thank you for all you do. You’re so incredibly strong, and we hope you have an amazing birthday (however old you decide you are today)

Rhonda, BSN, RN has been with us for three years now, and wow—so much has changed since she first started. She's the kind of person everyone wants working in their office. Often the first to arrive, she always finds a way to smile and bring joy to those around her, no matter what's going on.

As our Operating Room Manager, Rhonda plays a vital role in ensuring the OR and the practice as a whole has everything it needs to run smoothly. She’s also by your side on surgery day, helping you get prepared, starting your pre-surgery IV, and so much more.

When she’s not keeping the entire OR organized and running like a well-oiled machine, you can hear the echo of her laughter and conversations with our team members. If you've ever owned a business, you know how certain employees become true pillars—both organizationally and in terms of morale. Rhonda is exactly that. What is IPL❓

Also known as Intense Pulsed Light, IPL is a device used to target pigment—particularly issues like , , and ☀️. IPL uses different wavelengths to specifically target hemoglobin (red spots) and melanin (dark spots).

It’s a treatment we love so much that even scheduled herself IPL sessions to prep for her big day! 👰🏼

Like many of us California natives, Liz grew up spending lots of time at the beach, so sun damage and redness have become areas of concern as she’s gotten older. ☀️🙅‍♀️

Typically, over the course of about 4 treatments, IPL reduces the appearance of brown spots and redness caused by sun damage. Once fully healed, you’ll notice a more even skin tone and improved texture 💫.

After treatment, you may experience redness, inflammation, and a “sunburn-like” sensation. Shortly after, areas of hyperpigmentation (dark spots) will darken, and then break apart into smaller particles.
