They began by playing blackjack; craps was a big hit; or they tried their luck at the roulette wheel. After that, there was live entertainment and a buffet reminiscent of Vegas for dinner.

Happy Labor Day ~🇺🇸

We celebrated today with a barbecue, which everyone was still talking about at dinner. I heard the ribs were delicious! We welcomed back our favorite brass band that played enlivening music for everyone.

Step into our art studio~ 🖼️

A large bouquet of hydrangeas serves as the subject of our still life arrangement. The residents were prompted to consider the manner in which they will create their paintings by the fact that we used a cluster of Q-tips as our brush rather than the conventional paintbrush.

We embraced the spirit of nature with our Great Outdoors Social Series event! 🦅🪶🪘🌾

We were lucky and honored to have Baac Garcia, Lupe, and Sofia from the Tohono O'odham nation as guests.
Embracing Native culture keeps them alive because they are connected to Mother Earth.
Family members carefully made and put together their Native American costumes. This is a way to pass down traditions from one generation to the next and show pride in your roots and heritage. We watched the “Eagle dance,” and learned the meaning behind it. In our community we have residents from Cherokee and Navajo tribes.

Don’t think you’ll stop cooking when you move to Atria Newport Beach. Memory Care residents had a great time with our non-bake mini cinnamon rolls. 🍩🥛 They were easy to make, plus it smelled absolutely delicious in the dining room. Very tastyyyyy. 😋
