Every organ of the body corresponds to the energy of a certain emotion and every disease stems from an imbalance in an organ or its meridian.

Just as a physical disorder can stem from an imbalance in the emotion associated with that organ, an imbalanced organ can heighten the specific emotion experienced.

Emotions only become pathological when they are repressed, contained, expressed intensely and without control or out of context.

We will begin our evening with a guided meditation and prayer for our planet. After our meditation, we will journey to the healing frequencies of the crystal bowls, gong, ocean drum, while receiving acupuncture from yours truly.

For those who are new to acupuncture, this form of therapy can help treat the following:

Adrenal fatigue
Back pain or other chronic pain

Being an acupuncturist means I end up meeting a lot of people who are in pain. When people are in pain whether it’s emotional or physical, they are not themselves.

Though people may not talk about it all the time, receiving acupuncture really helps you to be your best self, especially when you’re out of balance or feeling lost.

So the next time you come in for a treatment, know it’s safe for you to cry, be angry, frustrated or confused and you don’t have to apologize for it. This is a safe space for you to work through what you’re going through.

While acupuncture cannot replace a therapy session it can assist you with the internal work of becoming more self aware as well as coming to terms with how you feel.

What is your tongue telling you?

The Tongue is extraordinary. It’s one of the strongest muscles the body and is often other looked by health professionals who are solely focused on the numbers of blood test, scans and general diagnostics.
