When you’re parenting a child with autism, you’re always looking for understanding and thoughtful options.

That’s why we're sharing a new international case narrative and research summary on the study of rTMS and EEG-guided rTMS in autism research.

The report includes one family’s personal experience and a review of published research on neuroplasticity and noninvasive neuromodulation. The parent describes noticing changes in eye contact, communication, and engagement over eight weeks.

We’re sharing this to support informed conversations and transparency around evolving autism research—and to give families hope that science continues to explore new ways to understand and support the developing brain.

Brain waves are the brain’s natural rhythms that organize how information flows — shaping how we think, feel, focus, and sleep. They speed up when we need clarity and action, and slow down to restore and reset the brain during rest and recovery. 🌊

At Brain Treatment Center, we measure these rhythms to understand how your brain is functioning and personalize care at the source.

Why do we care so much about alpha waves?

Alpha waves are brain rhythms linked to calm focus, creativity, and emotional regulation. When alpha activity is balanced, the brain can shift smoothly between thinking, relaxing, and performing—supporting better mood, stress resilience, memory, and mental clarity.

Too little alpha may show up as anxiety, racing thoughts, or difficulty relaxing. Too much, in the wrong areas, can be associated with brain fog, low motivation, or trouble staying alert.

At Brain Treatment Center, we measure and train brain activity to help restore healthy patterns—because better brain rhythms mean better daily performance, emotional balance, and long-term brain health.

When you feel supported your brain does too! Healthy relationships are associated with improved mood regulation, stress response, and cognitive resilience.

At Brain Treatment Center, we use qEEG-guided MeRT to better understand the brain networks involved in regulation and connection—then personalize treatment to support healthier brain rhythms.

What is Brainwave Disruption?

Your brain runs on electrical rhythms that regulate focus, mood, sleep, and performance.

When stress, trauma, concussions, PTSD, poor sleep, or chronic overwhelm throw those rhythms out of sync, communication inside the brain breaks down.

The result? Brain fog, anxiety, fatigue, emotional reactivity, poor recovery, and feeling “off” even when nothing looks wrong.

At Brain Treatment Center, we identify where your brainwaves are disrupted using an advanced brain mapping technology called a qEEG scan—then MeRT treatment is designed to guide your unique brain back into healthy, efficient patterns.

No guess work, no one size fits all, no addictive medications or invasive procedures.
