1) Start by noticing what you’re trying to control.
Uncertainty often feels unsafe because the mind is reaching for certainty it doesn’t actually have.
2) Ground in what is real right now.
Ask: What is actually happening in this moment—not what I’m predicting?
3) Separate fear from fact.
Not every “what if” is a truth. Most are projections of discomfort, not outcomes.
