Hi, I’m Catherine, but you can call me Cat. I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, and I work with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship challenges, and life transitions. It can be hard to begin therapy, and I strive to offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you can show up as you are while we work together to better understand what you’re experiencing.

Our work will focus on slowing things down to explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behavior. Together, we make sense of these patterns so you can reconnect with yourself, develop new ways of coping, and move toward meaningful change.

My clinical background includes working in treatment settings supporting clients with complex mental health and substance use needs. I have also helped develop curriculum for an adolescent treatment program, creating therapeutic groups focused on emotional awareness, coping skills, identity development, and connection. This experience allows me to bring both structure and flexibility into the therapy process while creating a unique and individualized space for each person.

I work from an attachment- and dissociation-informed framework. This means we pay attention to how early relationships, nervous system responses, and protective patterns shape your current experience. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, therapy centers on understanding underlying needs, building safety, and helping different parts of your experience feel more integrated.

Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, navigating trauma, or wanting to understand yourself and your relationships more deeply, therapy can help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and connected.

Therapy is a huge step to take and if you feel ready I’m here to support you.

The goal isn’t symptom elimination.
The goal is a life that feels aligned, intentional, and meaningful — even when it’s uncomfortable.

Because healing isn’t about controlling your inner world.
It’s about changing your relationship with it.

This is called physiological sigh breathing — and it’s one of the fastest ways to tell your body: “I’m safe right now.”

Use it when:
• your chest feels tight
• your thoughts are racing
• you’re about to react instead of respond

Small breath. Big calm.

You don’t need more willpower — you need better setup. Nudge Theory shows that small changes in your environment can quietly guide your behavior. When healthy or helpful choices are easier to access, you’re more likely to follow through.

Spreading love isn’t just about big gestures. It’s in how you listen, how you speak to yourself, and how gently you hold others. Healing starts there. 🌞🌱💫

Your past shaped your patterns—and therapy helps you understand them. Psychodynamic therapy explores how early experiences influence how you think, feel, and relate, so you can heal from the root instead of just coping.

Exploring dominant archetypes can be a powerful way to better understand one’s behaviors, patterns, and perceptions from a deeply reflective place. Jungian Psychology can allow you to discover the parts of yourself otherwise unknown.

•Side of Eye – on the bone beside the outer corner of the eye

•Under Eye – on the bone directly under the pupil

Tough seasons can feel endless when you’re in them… but they aren’t permanent. 🌧️
“This too shall pass” doesn’t mean it’s easy—it means it’s survivable.

🌱One small tip: When things feel overwhelming, zoom in on just the next right step (not the whole staircase). Drink some water. Take one slow breath. Do one manageable task. Your nervous system needs safety, not pressure.

You don’t have to rush your healing—just keep moving gently forward.
And remember: this moment is not your forever. 💛
