Start off the week strong and remember, rejection is direction! ➡️💪🧠

Love isn’t about finding someone perfect- it’s about choosing to keep seeing what you love, admire, and appreciate in them, even when life gets busy and stressful. 💕
This Valentine’s Day, let’s shift our lens back to gratitude, kindness, and the reasons we chose each other in the first place.

When too many things are on our mind at once, it can cause us to feel overwhelmed. If you pause, take a few deep breaths, get back into the present, and shift your focus outward… you will feel better. 💙
Parenting is a lot. When stress creeps in, stop, reset, and take one small step forward. You don’t have to do it all at once.

We rarely feel better after scrolling.

We can’t control the world, but we can control what we let into our minds.
It’s hard being a parent. It’s hard being a kid.
Protect your energy. Choose what helps you show up better 🧠💪

Children’s Mental Health Week reminder 🧠🌎💪

Be proactive, not reactive. Teach your kids the tools before the hard stuff hits- resilience, mindfulness, gratitude, and positive thinking. These skills, learned early, help them thrive later: Repetition makes them stick!

As a teen psychologist, one of the biggest protective factors I see is this:
every teen needs at least one trusted adult they can talk to who isn’t a friend.

Parents, you don’t lose influence when you widen the circle, you strengthen it. Helping your teen identify one safe adult could make all the difference.

Happy Monday everyone! ☀️

Research and experience both show that gratitude for small, consistent moments creates meaningful shifts. As a teen psychologist, I encourage families to practice gratitude around things everyone can see, feel, and share.

Small things. Big Difference! ✨

The start of a new year IS a good time to pause and reevaluate.

I’ve lost a lot of people I cared deeply for over the past few years and one of the gifts they’ve left me is the realization that TIME is the true value we have in life because it’s limited.

As your entering into the new year, recognize that your time here is limited and think of what your true priorities are in this life (family, friends, making a difference for others) then evaluate where your time has been going in relation to those priorities.

Do they line up? If they don’t, make the necessary corrections.

This will enable you to have a much more rewarding, purposeful and meaningful year and life.

✨ New Year, Realistic You✨

As parents, it’s tempting to start the new year with a long list of “things we want to fix” in ourselves or our families. But here’s the truth: humans are creatures of habit, and the big lists usually lead to overwhelm, not change.

Real, lasting change happens when we focus on ONE small, meaningful shift at a time.

What’s one habit you will be working on this year?

Grace matters more than perfection!

The holidays are a lot. If you ran out of time and didn’t get everything done, pause and lean into self-compassion. Let ‘good enough’ be enough.

Then, spread that grace outward and keep sharing the love.

Happy Holidays to you and your family ✨
