If you want to lose body fat, tone up, feel/fit better in your clothes, decrease blood pressure or, improve your activities of daily living, then personal fitness training is right for you. I enjoy collaborating with my clients in a fun and relaxed setting, developing programs that are targeted to deliver benefits quickly. My expertise is in working with males and females (men, women, and children) in all fitness levels from beginners, seasoned exercisers, seniors, and those with rehabilitation needs. I give my clients a sound understanding of exercise techniques and principles allowing them to progress safely and confidently while pursuing fitness goals. I offer a comprehensive program, which combines assessments, weight and cardio machines with a wide variety of free weight movement and stretching, goal setting, all in a personal, fun and effective way. I also help clients reduce hypertension, cholesterol, and general reduction in medications overall. I thrive by being an enthusiastic advocate, coach and motivator. With 35 years of experience I have multiple credentials and many years of one on one experience to help clients achieve their goals. I am a certified personal fitness trainer, nutritionist, boot camp instructor, Paleo follower and coach clients all over the U.S.

I’ve been working on my hang time for months and TODAY, i did 2’02”!!! (Took me 3” to get down and stop my timer. Lol).

Are YOU doing any of these exercises to Strengthen your BONES❓

Here are the TOP FIVE exercises for women to BUILD and maintain strong bones:🦿

1. Weightlifting / Resistance Training
Lifting weights (3-4 days/week) or using resistance bands helps stimulate bone growth by putting healthy stress on the bones. Focus on compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and lunges. 💪🏻

2. Walking or Hiking (especially on uneven terrain) Weight-bearing aerobic exercises like brisk walking or hiking improve bone density in the hips and legs. THIS IS WHERE A WEIGHTED VEST COMES IN HANDY!

3. Stair Climbing Regularly climbing stairs strengthens the lower body and increases bone density, particularly in the hips and spine.

4. Jumping or High-Impact Activities
Activities like jumping rope, dancing, or short bursts of jumping exercises (plyometrics) help stimulate bone growth due to their impact force🏃🏼‍♀️.
