Feinerman Vision specializes in LASIK, EVO ICL & cataract surgery. Gregg Feinerman, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained refractive eye surgeon.

Dr Feinerman was the first surgeon on the West Coast to perform All laser LASIK with the Ziemer laser and the first surgeon in OC to perform WaveLight Plus LASIK after FDA approval. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Feinerman has extensive experience and a refined technique in performing some of the most advanced vision correction procedures and diagnosing & treating a wide range of eye conditions. He is one of the few qualified eye surgeons in the nation certified to perform a number of cutting-edge vision restoring procedures. Dr. Feinerman is also a noted author and educator who regularly presents his findings to eye surgeons around the world. He is involved in medical research and has written books on both cataract and LASIK eye surgery. His paper, entitled "Simultaneous Bilateral LASIK: Safety and Efficacy", was published in the August 1999 issue of Ophthalmology. Eye surgeons consider this paper a landmark study because it demonstrates that LASIK surgery can be performed safely on both eyes, on the same day.

LASIK Myth vs. Fact 👁️

Myth: All LASIK procedures are basically the same.
Fact: Not all LASIK technology works the same way.

Different systems measure the eye differently. Some traditional systems focus mainly on the front surface of the cornea. Newer technology, like WaveLight Plus LASIK, analyzes how light travels through the entire optical system of the eye.

This advanced mapping allows your treatment to be customized based on how your eye actually focuses light creating a more personalized approach to vision correction. LASIK technology continues to evolve, which is why modern procedures can be far more precise than earlier versions.
