Too embarrassed to talk about s*x? Listen, I see this every day in my practice.

People who've been struggling for years finally come in, and the first thing they say is "I'm so embarrassed to even bring this up."

And I always tell them: this is literally my job. This is what I do all day. There's nothing you could say that I haven't heard a hundred times before.

My Better S*x Coach app creates that same safe space—where you can ask anything, learn anything, without embarrassment.

Because your s*xual health is just health. Period.

Your dating expectations might be ruining your intimate life.

I see patients every day who are struggling with connection, and here's what I notice: we're more connected digitally than ever, yet lonelier and more anxious in our relationships. That disconnect shows up in the exam room as tension, difficulty with intimacy, even physical symptoms.

Social media keeps telling you not to settle, that you deserve perfection. But here's the truth: there is no perfect partner. There's only what's right for you.

When you chase an impossible standard, your body responds with stress. That stress affects everything from your pelvic floor to your intimate health to your overall wellbeing.

Real connection isn't about finding someone flawless. It's about finding someone who fits your life, your values, your reality.

Did you know your oral s*x habits could affect your risk for throat cancer?😮
HPV isn’t just about cervical cancer—it can sneak into your throat too.
If you’ve had six or more oral s*x partners, your risk jumps 2-3x higher.
Most HPV infections clear up, but some stick around and cause trouble.
The good news: HPV can be prevented with vaccines and simple protection like condoms or dental dams!

Your partner isn't a mind reader, and neither are you.

In long term relationships, we often fall into patterns that feel safe but not exciting. The same routine every time. It's comfortable, but it stops being the kind of intimacy worth anticipating.

Here's what happens: the longer you're together, the riskier it feels to suggest something new. You worry they'll think you're unhappy or that you want to replace what you have. That fear keeps couples stuck.

Start gently. Let your partner know you want to talk about something, nothing serious. Then say: "I've been thinking about some things I'd like to explore together. I love what we have, and I'm curious about deepening it."

Try the yes, no, maybe list together. Write down what excites you, what doesn't, and what you're open to exploring. Find your common ground.

Communication is how you build deeper intimacy, not just maintain it.

S*x surrogates provide physical intimacy and therapeutic support for people struggling with intimate connection. And yes, this is a real profession.

These trained practitioners can step into the role of a romantic partner, offering everything from conversation to physical touch to intimate experiences. But here's what makes them different from dating: they're also trained in somatic therapy, helping clients notice what's happening in their bodies and stay emotionally regulated through the process.

The skilled ones can shift seamlessly between partner mode and therapist mode, depending on what their client needs in that moment.

For people dealing with anxiety around intimacy, past trauma, or simply lack of experience, a s*x surrogate fills a gap that traditional talk therapy can't address. They provide the actual lived experience of physical connection in a safe, guided way.

If you're elderly and frail, strength training isn't optional. It's essential for your independence and quality of life.

But here's what nobody tells you: you need guidance to do it safely and effectively.

You don't necessarily need an expensive trainer. You need someone who understands basic lifting mechanics. That could be a friend who knows how to properly position an ankle weight or stabilize your leg during extensions. Even phone coaching works if you can access videos and communicate clearly about movement.

The key is having another set of eyes to ensure proper form and prevent injury.

Starting strength training later in life can feel intimidating, but with the right support, it's absolutely achievable.
