Warr Acres City Council member Jason Cole has been arrested on multiple charges including r**e of children in single digits.

According to court documents and police statements, Cole, 51, faces serious allegations including one count of r**e by instrumentation, one count of showing indecent materials to a minor, and three counts of child sexual abuse. The victims are described as children in single digits, who were reportedly taken to the Care Center—a child advocacy facility—where they provided accounts of the alleged abuse during forensic interviews.

The Warr Acres Police Department confirmed the arrest in a statement, noting that charges were presented to the Oklahoma County District Attorney, who accepted the case for prosecution.

Joe Dorman, CEO of the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy, weighed in on the case, emphasizing the gravity of the allegations. “Having the children in single digits, it’s disgusting to see reports like this,” Dorman said. “The fact that it’s a person who is in a leadership role, either elected or appointed official, that makes it that much worse.” He also stressed the importance of child advocacy resources, noting a statewide lack of funding and the prevalence of such crimes, often uncovered only when children speak out or incidents escalate.
