Lymphatic massage after liposuction is not optional.

It’s part of getting the best possible results.

So when should you start?

I usually recommend starting 7–10 days after surgery.

Earlier than that can be too painful because the tissues are still inflamed.

Here’s why it matters.

Liposuction temporarily disrupts your lymphatic system. Fluid can get trapped under the skin, which causes swelling, firmness, and sometimes bumps.

Lymphatic massage helps move that fluid out of the treated areas.

That reduces swelling, softens firm spots, and helps the skin reattach smoothly.

How many sessions do you need?

Most patients need 6–10 sessions, and the first 2–4 weeks are the most important.

At minimum, go once a week, more frequently is even better.

This is one of the keys to healing smoothly and getting the best contour possible.

I’ve been getting asked about the “fat injection” from Korea — LAMS or 365 LAMS.

Here’s the truth.

Some clinics inject chemicals and wait for the fat to slowly break down. It’s unpredictable.
Others inject numbing fluid and lightly suction but that’s still limited sculpting.

What I do is different.

I use tumescent solution, remove the fat directly, and sculpt in real time.
I control the contour. I control the transitions.

I don’t wait on chemistry to change your shape.

Sculpting is about precision.
And precision is what creates great results.

What’s my favorite liposuction procedure to do?

I love them all! It’s artistic, it feels like sculpting.

But if I had to choose, I love sculpting the bra fat and back area.

Why? Because the change is powerful.

You get a cleaner, leaner shape.

Sometimes I include the lower back to create a more snatched waist.

Your muscular lines come back.

You look younger (sometimes 10 years younger) just from the back view.

And you feel it the moment you put on a fitted dress or shirt.

Your silhouette changes.

Your confidence goes up.

If you want that tight, youthful, sculpted back, this is it.

Let’s talk about the banana roll, the small pocket of fat just under the buttocks.

It may look minor, but it’s one of the hardest areas to treat correctly.

Remove too much fat and the butt can drop, creating sagging instead of lift.
That’s why technique matters. This area must be sculpted, not flattened.

We use very small cannulas for precise shaping to protect the natural support under the butt, keeping it lifted and balanced.

This procedure is done under local anesthesia, not general.

And for those asking, fat-dissolving injections don’t work well in this area. Results are unpredictable.

Done right, the banana roll enhances your shape.
Done wrong, it ruins it.

Stop thinking liposuction is major hospital surgery.

UltraSculpt is different.

It’s done under local anesthesia, not general anesthesia.

No hospital. No breathing tubes. You stay awake and comfortable.

Because we use small cannulas, there’s less tissue trauma which means less swelling, less pain, and faster recovery.

Most patients use only Tylenol or anti-inflammatory medication afterward.

You’re up the same day and often back to normal activities within a couple of days.

If you want real contouring without the traditional surgical experience, UltraSculpt is a completely different approach.

If you’re thinking about cosmetic surgery or liposuction, hear this first:

1. It’s not about perfection, it’s about improvement.

Better proportions. Clothes fitting better. Feeling more confident in your body.

2. Healing takes time.

Swelling and firmness are normal. Your body needs weeks to months to fully settle.

3. Results evolve.

You’ll often notice changes in how clothes fit within 4–6 weeks, but final results take 4–6 months.

Trust the process. Good results take patience.

Wondering what actually happens during an UltraSculpt procedure?

Before we start, you’re given medication to help you relax.

A nurse stays with you the entire time, adjusting your comfort, temperature, and making sure you feel at ease.

To numb the area, I use a very small needle (about the size of a Botox needle).

You’ll feel brief pinches, that’s the most uncomfortable part.

Once you’re numb, you don’t feel pain, just pressure.

I use small cannulas, which means less tissue trauma and less discomfort afterward.

If needed, we finish with laser or radiofrequency to tighten the skin.

You’re then placed in a compression garment, rest briefly, and most patients are ready to go home within 15–20 minutes.

You’ll need someone to drive you home, but there’s no wheelchair. You’re walking out on your own.

It’s a simple, safe, in-office procedure.

No time to disappear for surgery?

That’s exactly why UltraSculpt works so well for busy people.

UltraSculpt is done under local anesthesia, so you stay awake and avoid the risks of general anesthesia.

No hospital. No overnight stay. Everything is done in-office.

Because your body isn’t recovering from anesthesia, recovery is faster.

Most patients are up and walking the same day.

The next day, you’re driving, running errands, and living normally.

Most people need only 1–2 days off work.

Do it on a Friday or Saturday — and many are back to work on Monday.

This is body contouring that fits real life.

Safe, practical with minimal downtime.

“When do I start lymphatic massage, and how many do I need?”

The answer is you need to start early.

For liposuction alone (not a mini tummy tuck), I usually have patients begin 1–2 weeks after surgery.

Lymphatic massages ehlp with:

- Moving fluid out.
- Reduce swelling.
- Improve healing.
- Create a smoother contour.

Most patients need about 6–10 sessions.

Larger areas or more fibrosis may need more, while smaller areas may need fewer. The key is consistency.

I usually recommend 1–2 sessions per week, then taper as swelling improves.

Lymphatic massage isn’t optional, it directly impacts your final result.

Had a tummy tuck but still notice fullness in the upper abs or p***c area?

This is something I see often.

The skin is tight and the scar looks good but when liposuction is skipped, leftover fat can throw off the entire result. One area looks flat, while another still looks bulky.

That imbalance is frustrating.

This is where UltraSculpt works extremely well.

It safely removes those stubborn fat pockets in the upper abs, lower abs, and p***c area to restore balance and definition.

The procedure is quick, done under local anesthesia, with minimal downtime.

Most patients are back to normal within about a week.

Thinking about a tummy tuck but worried about downtime, pain, or drains?

That’s where a mini tummy tuck can make sense.

A mini tummy tuck uses a smaller incision, which means less scarring compared to a full tummy tuck.
It’s performed under local anesthesia, avoiding general anesthesia and allowing for a faster recovery.

This option is best for people with mild lower-abdominal loose skin who want noticeable improvement with less downtime and less hassle.

Who’s a good candidate for Smartlipo or UltraSculpt?

UltraSculpt is liposuction performed under local anesthesia, using smaller cannulas than traditional lipo and paired with laser or radiofrequency to smooth fat and tighten skin.

A good candidate is someone with stubborn pockets of fat that don’t respond to diet or exercise.

For larger areas, it can also be a great jump-start helping people feel better in their clothes and more motivated to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Sometimes people just need a little push.
Seeing better definition in the mirror often helps keep that momentum going.
