A 2-stage forehead flap was utilized to move tissue from the forehead to reconstruct the defect on the nose. The patient is 5 months post-op from his second surgery and we are both so happy with the results!

Thank you for inviting me to speak at this year’s Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) conference over this past weekend. It was a pleasure to address a lecture hall full of inspiring Asian medical students from various schools across the region, including Arizona. Take a look at this nasal reconstruction and rhinoplasty transformation to reduce the hump on my patient’s nasal bridge. The reconstruction was performed using advancement flaps from the nose, cheek, and glabella areas. Since the patient also wanted to address his dorsal hump, both procedures were performed simultaneously for an optimal aesthetic and functional outcome. He is now 3 months post-op and I am excited to see how he continues healing!

Here are the results of an upper lip reconstruction after skin cancer removal. The reconstruction involved a pedicled island flap with advancement flaps of the upper lip and cheek area. Here are the results from 1 month post-surgery. We are excited to follow-up with her as she continues healing!
