PSA: PPIs don’t “fix” reflux…they mute the alarm. 🚨

‼️Most heartburn isn’t from too much acid, it’s from too little.

💊 Suppressing acid long-term with PPIs can backfire: rebound heartburn when you stop, and they’re associated with nutrient deficiencies, higher risk of gut infections, and poorer protein/mineral absorption.

They were designed for short, acute use (approximately 14 days) not years. ⛔️

⬇️Quick, safe starting points:

• Mineral-rich salt daily (my favorite is ) to support HCl 🧂

👌THREE things to know:

1️⃣SEED OILS are the ULTIMATE Weapon of Mass Destruction for your GUT.
2️⃣Store bought salad dressings are one of the worst things you can buy. Sneaky, right?!
3️⃣Alea is the STAR of this video and I think we convinced a shopper to skip on the salad dressing (ya gotta see it😆). What a WIN! 👏

These brands are getting really good at their marketing. 👀

➖“No high fructose corn syrup” - Which is great but considering all the other ingredients, that’s hardly the worst.

➖“Vegetable Oil” -”vegetable” means good, right? WRONG! ❌ This is the furthest thing from it.

➖”Fat Free” (the bottle beside the one I picked up)- ugh 🤦‍♂️ Yes, there are fats that HEAL and fats that KILL. And while just about every fat in a store bought salad dressing is one that will kill 💀, the “fat free” label is one of the scariest labels out there. Avoid anything that’s claiming “fat free.”⚠️

😵‍💫We could go on and on, but the bottom line- Read your labels. And more importantly, KNOW your labels. 👊💥 Be a smart shopper, consumer, and eater. Don’t spend your money on items that are literally made to TAKE YOU OUT!

This week we took our kids’ homeschool group to a nursing home. ❤️ It was such an amazing experience, so good for the kids and so good for those they were visiting. Big smiles…but also big perspective. ⬇️

➡️The truth is, we’re living longer than ever in human history…but we’re dying sooner- in energy, mobility, joy, etc.

Don’t wait. Start now. Start today.
