In my practice I offer both Allergan based Botox and Xeomin. These are my go to neurotoxins because Xeomin is less immunogenic, so long term users are less likely to build antibodies or need higher doses over time. It also has a quicker onset and creates a softer, more natural look that many men and younger patients love, or if you don’t like that frozen look. Botox still delivers beautiful results, but tends to give a slightly more frozen finish. I avoid Dysport because its smaller molecule can lead to higher rates of ptosis, and I stay away from Jeuveau and others because I prefer to keep treatments pure and predictable.
