We are proud to have hosted a productive Colon Screening Day at Southern Maryland Medical Center. Our team successfully screened numerous patients for colon cancer. The FDA-approved Shield blood test is available for colon cancer screening, with the added benefit of optional screenings for 7 other cancers, including breast and prostate. Shield testing ages is 45-85. All insurances are accepted, but %100 covered by Medicare.
