Our residents loved having lunch out at the Chinese Buffet! They left happy with full, satisfied tummies!

Our residents, team and friends at The Huntington Assisted Living enjoyed an afternoon farmers market. There was a lemonade stand, meats and cheeses to sample, and an array of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, jams and snacks to take back to the room or share with family and visitors.

And if you're thinking, what about the potatoes, zucchini and string beans? What the residents select, the dietary team cooks up and serves to them how they'd like it. It's a full-on farm-to-table experience once a year!

Our residents enjoyed themselves at our recent Hawaiian Beach Bash. On the menu were crab salad, chicken salad, watermelon, pineapple and lots more. They all returned to their rooms with goodies bags.

Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, observed on June 19. It signifies when word of the Emancipation Proclamation reached the enslaved people of Galveston, Texas, in 1865 - more than two years after President Lincoln signed it into law.

To our CNAs: Thank you! Our nurse aides are the eyes and ears for the nursing team and forge important bonds with our residents. They are our champions!

Our team of CNAs are the backbone of our clinical team. They are with the residents daily and report to the nursing team what they hear and see.
