Residency: Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital

Certifications: American Board of Pediatrics

Clinical Interests: Preventative Care, Sports Medicine, Mental Health

Personal: Originally from Illinois, Dr. Taylor is excited to now call Virginia home. He enjoys exploring national parks, visiting presidential libraries, attending theatre performances, and volunteering with his church.

REMINDER!

Children's Clinic now offers Sick Season Walk-in Appointments, Monday-Friday starting at 8:15 AM until 8:45 AM.

Things to keep in mind:

Appointments are for established Children's Clinic patients only who are experiencing acute (sudden onset) sick symptoms: Your child woke up with an ear ache or sore throat.

Appointments are available Monday through Friday only.
For patients with chronic, ongoing symptoms please call our office and make an appointment with their P*P.

Should patients arrive for a walk-in appointment with ongoing symptoms we will kindly ask that you schedule an appointment later with your P*P.

There is no need to call for an appointment. All you have to do is arrive at either office between 8:15-8:45 AM.

There is a limit to the number of patients we can schedule during this time period. Once that number has been met we will then schedule patients later the same day.

We are excited to be more available for you!

We are so honored to have one of our patients choose Children’s Clinic for his Eagle Scout project! Landon poured his heart, sweat and muscle into this book mobile for our waiting room. He did a wonderful job! All of the books were donated locally. What a special treat for our patients to enjoy!

Flu season is approaching! We now have this year's influenza vaccines in stock. We have vaccine-only appointments available every morning, Monday through Friday at all three clinics. We also offer vaccine-only appointments every Saturday morning at the Hampton location. Call the office to schedule!

Children's Clinic is excited to announce Back to School and Sick Season Walk-in Appointments, Monday-Friday!

Starting Monday, August 25th our Manhattan and Denbigh locations will see walk-in sick patients starting at 8:15 AM and lasting until 9:00 AM. Just in time for Back to School!

Can't reach the on-call doctor after hours?
As of May 1, 2025, we are experiencing difficulties with our after-hours paging system. If you have tried calling after hours and have not heard back from the doctor within 15 minutes, your call may not have gone through. You may try calling again or call during business hours next day if not urgent. Please remember to go to ED if it is an emergency. We apologize for this inconvenience and are actively working to address this.
