Welcome to Peninsula Dermatology & Skin Cancer Surgery Center. We appreciate your trust in us and consider it our privilege to serve our friends and neighbors with the same high standard of care that we would offer our own families.

We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for patients using state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical techniques in a family-oriented and professional environment. With expertise in general dermatology, as well as specialty services in Mohs surgery, our physicians are board certified and regarded as some of the finest physicians in the region.

Our practice was established in 1987 by the well known and respected husband and wife team of Dr. Douglas Nelson and Dr. Susan Mackel. We continue to uphold their original vision for the practice which is:
