Annually, during the month of August, the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) hosts National Health Center Week (NHCW) to recognize and raise awareness about the nearly 1,500 Community Health Centers (CHCs) serving communities across the United States. This weeklong observance focuses on the dedication of Community Health Center staff, board members, patients and advocates who help deliver high-quality, comprehensive and affordable healthcare to over 32.5 million people in nearly 16,000 communities every year.
