THE WEEKLY POUR 💦
This week we are honoring mental health. May is mental health awareness month & it’s personal to me. This is my mom, Melissa. We lost her to mental illness, nearly 9 years ago. 3,216 days without her on this earth and so much life has happened in between then & now. I still cannot quite describe what it’s like to lose someone close to you to this illness, but I can tell you how I have worked on myself & my mental health in the last 8 years. It’s truly so important all the way around.
So in honor of mental health awareness, in honor of my mom, this weeks pour is called

Ok everyone!
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the events of the last few days & the impact the storm had on my local community as well as so many others. We have friends that have lost their homes & literally everything, small businesses in our town also have lost so much if not everything, and it’s so tough seeing the devastation. Our county is preparing to be without running water for weeks to come..
I woke up this morning in awe of my precious God.. blessed enough to wake up in a warm bed with electricity and everything we own. Although im getting closer to baby arriving, & I can’t physically do much, I feel so led to help my community in just some way. Some dont know but our name stands for Cocke County Nutrition. We are strong, & this community is doing so much for eachother it’s so beautiful to see.
So here’s what we are going to do! 💪

Im taking donations to help those in need here with some specifics such as

Diapers (any size)
Pull-ups
Wipes
Clothing
toilet Paper
Paper towels
Toiletries

& anything for our first responders & volunteers who are working countless hours away from their families to serve here. I live near a Walmart & a few of the donation drops & relief spots set up in our town & can easily shop for & drop off these donations!!

If you would like to donate/help you can contact me to drop off items, I have opened a section on our order form which will remain for the month of October & also you can send $ donations here. Please put “hurricane relief” in notes
