We had a great time enjoying a friendly game of Horseshoes together! 😊🎯 The excitement and laughter filled the air as everyone took turns aiming for the target and cheering each other on. Horseshoes are a wonderful way to encourage gentle movement, improve coordination, and bring residents together for fun and friendly competition. 💜

We’re still celebrating our wonderful King and Queen and the joyful memories from such a special day! 👑❤️ It has been so much fun continuing the celebration, sharing smiles, laughter, and sweet moments together. Seeing the pride and happiness on their faces reminds us how meaningful these traditions are for our residents.

Our flower arranging class was such a beautiful and heartwarming time together! 🌸💐 We enjoyed getting creative, arranging colorful blooms, and sharing sweet conversation as they designed their own special pieces. We are incredibly grateful to the Walmart Supercenter in Newport for so generously donating enough flowers to decorate both resident rooms and our dining room. Because of their kindness, our home is now filled with even more color, freshness, and joy. 🌷✨ It’s amazing how something as simple as flowers can brighten a space and lift spirits. We truly appreciate the support and love from our community! 💜

Our Mardi Gras celebration was full of color, laughter, and festive fun! 💜💚💛 We enjoyed wearing our masks, sharing good food, and spending sweet time together celebrating the season. Of course, no Mardi Gras party is complete without King Cake — and yes… we found the baby! 👑✨ Finding the baby is said to bring good luck and prosperity, and the lucky person who discovers it is traditionally crowned “king” or “queen” for the day. It added even more excitement and smiles to our celebration! Days like this remind us how special it is to come together, celebrate traditions, and create joyful memories. 🎭🎉

We had a sweet time decorating cookies together! 🍪✨ From frosting and sprinkles to plenty of creativity, the room was filled with laughter and smiles. Cookie decorating is not only fun—it also encourages creativity, supports hand-eye coordination, and brings everyone together for shared joy. The best part was enjoying each other’s company and admiring all the delicious creations! 💕

After days of snow cream and hot chocolate during this winter storm, we were ready to get moving! ❄️☕🍨 We turned on some Oldies and added a little exercise to our day, filling the room with smiles, music, and movement. There’s nothing like familiar tunes to lift spirits and get everyone tapping their feet and moving along. Music and exercise are so important, especially during winter days indoors — they help boost mood, improve circulation, support mobility, and keep both the body and mind active. Most of all, it brings joy, laughter, and togetherness to our day. We are so grateful for these moments that keep us warm, active, and smiling no matter the weather outside! 💜

This weekend, all of our department heads came together for a fun lock-in filled with laughter and teamwork! 🎉✨ We enjoyed games of bingo and even made some delicious snow cream 🍨❄️, creating a day full of smiles, friendly competition, and sweet treats. Spending time together like this strengthens our teamwork, sparks creativity, and reminds us why we love what we do. ❤️ We’re so grateful for these moments that bring fun, connection, and joy to our home! 🌟
