First marathon in the bag. Again I forgot to hit “resume” on my GPS for one mile! Official time with all the pit stops was 4:51. Not sad about that. I had some amazing cheerleaders too!!

1 week to go! Next Sunday I’ll run my first (and only) marathon. I’ll check that off my bucket list and achieve my goal ...

If you have to run 20 miles this is the place to do it! Forgot to hit resume on my GPS for a bit- it really was a 20 mile run. It was tough though and didn’t leave me feeling 100% confident for the whole 26. Now for the taper and countdown to 10/20.

Whoa mama! 18 miles ✅. Can’t believe I actually did this and that I felt good doing it. If not for the “tweekiness” in my left foot it would have been a perfect run! Thinking I’ll see the podiatrist and PT this week to get the foot assessed.

15 miles. Avg pace: 9:53/mile. All I can say is it’s done. The bright side is that it was finally cool, not humid, and flat. This distance was a goal for me because it’s the farthest I’ve ever run. I feel like if I can do this I can do the whole 26.2. I can do it, it won’t be pretty but it’ll get done.

This was the best thing to watch! These kids were awesome and they had so much fun!
