🔹 Through the first nine months of 2025, Newport Community Hospital recorded 63 injuries from falls.

🔹 Most of these (36) happened to people age 65 and older.

🔹 Falls are the No. 1 reported mechanism of injury at our Emergency Department, ahead of vehicle accidents and motorcycle accidents.
