Roland N. Britch, Jr and Richard R. Bouffard of the Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Homes, of Newport, Derby, Barton, Island Pond and Craftsbury Common are pleased to announce that Joseph P.(Joey) Wade has joined their staff as a licensed Funeral Director. He graduated from North Country Union High School in 2015 and 2021 from Vermont Technical College in Randolph, Vermont with an associates degree in Veterinary Sciences. In 2024 he received a Certificate from the CCV funeral program. Joey is the son of Lonnie and Pam Wade who currently teach at North Country Union High School in Newport (Lonnie being the former head coach of the Falcons and Pam an AP Biology teacher). Joey resides in Brownington, VT with his wife Amber and his two pets Newark and Luna. Joey is eager to serve the community that he grew up in.
