Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Homes Britch, Jr. In 1986 a branch funeral home was opened in Island Pond, Vermont. All four locations are now named Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Homes.

The Curtis-Britch Funeral Home, Inc., doing business as Curtis-Britch & Bouffard Funeral Homes, was founded in 1894 on the Lake Road in Newport by Byron and Augusta Curtis, continued by Justin and Frances Curtis, and is now owned by Roland N. Then, in November of 2001, Roland purchased from Service Corporation International of Lufkin, Texas the Converse-Rushford Funeral Homes located on Darling Hill in Newport and Elm Street in Barton, Vermont.
