Team work makes the dream work! Kay Coole, Executive Director, and Kyra Moore, Gingerbread Festival Chairman, along with the Gingerbread Festival Committee, are working hard to ensure the 13th Annual Gingerbread Festival is a "sweet success".

Please join us December 12-14, 2025 in bringing the Magic of Christmas to our community and make a meaningful difference in the patients and families cared for at SECU Crystal Coast Hospice House.

Mr. Rossi ordered a sand dollar in memory of his wife, Chaplain Jamie Rossi who passed away at the Crystal Coast Hospice House on June 25, 2025. He requested to install it himself. He stated it was a way to give back to the Hospice House which provided a comfortable peaceful place and compassionate care. We are hopeful he will visit often.

We are thankful for the dedication of our current Board of Directors who meet at least quarterly to review how well the Crystal Coast Hospice House serves our community then discuss and make decisions to improve. Current directors are Dick Brvenik, Kyra Moore, Linda Staunch, Booth Parker, Buddy Russell, Sarah Strange, Jackie Glasgow, Patti Schweis, Deb Schisler, David Miller, Reid Marsh, and Seth Smith. Today, the Crystal Coast Hospice House in partnership with our operating partner 3HC, celebrate the 12th anniversary of when we opened the doors. These photos include who is at the hospice house today providing and assisting with compassionate care for patients, and families. Since opened, we have served >2500 families.
Thanks to all who have contributed in some way. We are beyond grateful! For any others who provide support but not there today, feel free to post your pics in comments!

There are times when we have patients who would like a haircut/style while at the Hospice House. If you'd like to be a contact to volunteer your time for this service, please contact Sharon Baugus at 252-777-4201.
I can only imagine how this would make the patient feel, and the stylist!
