A huge thank you to our incredible team for braving the snowstorm yesterday! ❄️❤️ While most people were being told to stay off the roads, you showed up, making sure our residents and patients were safe, cared for, and never alone. That kind of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.

You are the heart of what we do, especially on the toughest days. Thank you for your commitment and the care you provide, no matter the weather. We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

It’s something that millions of people experience, but few talk about: incontinence. Family caregivers may struggle to help a loved one manage this condition. But the sooner we can start talking about incontinence, the sooner we can begin to treat it. Read “Practical Solutions for Bladder Control Issues.”

Incontinence. It’s common. It’s underdiscussed. And often, it is a challenge faced by people who are caring for older loved ones. Incontinence is the involuntary loss of bladder or bowel control. There are several types of incontinence, each with its own set of causes and characteristics. It’s...

This January, we recognize National Blood Donor Month and the donors whose generosity keeps blood supplies available for patients in need. 🩸 A simple act can make a big difference. Thank you to all who give the gift of life.

It was a beautiful December at Health Concepts. Our wonderful residents took a step back in time for traditional horse-drawn sleigh rides. From the jingle of the bells to the crisp winter air, it was a beautiful week filled with smiles, stories of Christmases past and a whole lot of hot cocoa to keep us warm. Seeing the pure joy as they glided through the snow was the best gift we could have asked for.

Very special thank you to The Nursing Placement Foundation for sponsoring the event, and to Oakley Home Access and New England Carriage Rides for their partnership in making this extraordinary event a reality.

This Glaucoma Awareness Month, we’re focusing on eye health and the importance of regular check-ups. 👁️ Glaucoma has no early symptoms, so a dilated eye exam is key to protecting your sight. Take a moment this month to talk with your care team about eye health.
