🐾 Patrick Needs a Hero 🐾
My name is Patrick, some of you already know me, and I wish I could tell you my whole story. I don’t know how I ended up here, but I do know the wonderful people at Smoky Mountain Humane Society are trying very hard to help me.
Recently, the vet gave us some tough news… I have heartworms, and my case is considered severe. But there is hope. The vet says I’m still a good candidate for treatment, and if I get it, I have a real chance at a healthy life.
The problem is the treatment costs $1,330 at Dr. Chambers’ office in Morristown, and I also need something just as important — a quiet foster home.
For the next several months, my life has to be very calm. No running, no jumping, no playing hard. Just rest, gentle care, and someone who will let me lay beside them and heal. I promise I’m a very good boy and I’ll do my best to be the easiest houseguest you’ve ever had.
If you can’t foster me, maybe you could help with my treatment. Every donation, big or small, helps give me a chance to beat heartworms and finally have the life every dog deserves.
I didn’t choose this illness, but with your help, maybe I can still choose a future.
