🌍 **Today is World Humanitarian Day!** 🌍

On this day, we honor the incredible courage, commitment, and compassion of humanitarian workers around the world who risk their lives to help others in times of crisis. Whether it’s responding to natural disasters, conflicts, or health emergencies, these unsung heroes work tirelessly to provide lifesaving assistance to those in need.

But their work is far from over. Every day, millions of people around the world face unimaginable hardships, from hunger and displacement to violence and disease. It’s up to all of us to support their efforts and ensure that no one is left behind.

Here’s how you can make a difference:

1. **Raise Awareness**: Share information about ongoing humanitarian crises and the importance of humanitarian work. Use to join the global conversation.

2. **Donate**: Consider supporting organizations that are on the front lines, delivering aid where it’s needed most.

3. **Volunteer**: Look for opportunities to volunteer with local or international organizations that focus on humanitarian work.

4. **Advocate**: Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves. Urge our leaders to support policies that protect and assist those in need.

Let’s come together to show our support for those who dedicate their lives to helping others. Every action counts, and together, we can make a real difference. 💪

World Humanitarian Day is a global celebration of people helping people. It is intended to raise public awareness of humanitarian assistance worldwide and the people who risk their lives in order to provide it.

Attended a very important event today! We joined Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long, Sen. Darius Brown, Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown, and the REFORM Alliance for a Day of Action featuring thought-provoking panels and networking opportunities with criminal justice advocates in the State of Delaware.

Policy makers and community leaders listen to attendees with lived experience in the probation and parole system as they provide critical insights, how supervision systems can effectively support their immediate needs for successful outcomes, reduce recidivism and promote public safety.
