๐Ÿ‘‰ Connie Schmidt, RN, works in Ambulatory Infusion at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. On her own, Connie purchased a beautifully decorated cake for a chemotherapy patient who was planning a simple wedding. That way, the soon-to-be married couple could have a traditional cake to celebrate. A co-worker wrote in the nomination: "I wanted Connie to know how much these acts of kindness enhance the experience of working here.โ€ โค๏ธ

๐Ÿ‘‰ Jennifer Cook manages three Samaritan clinics in Depoe Bay, Newport and Waldport. She was recognized for her patience, knowledge, teamwork and for always putting the patient first.
