Big congratulations to our team! 🎉👏

Our caregivers have officially passed their exams and are now Delaware Certified Home Health Aides! This is more than just a test—it’s another certification under their belt and a true reflection of their dedication, hard work, and commitment to providing top-quality care.

A big thank you to Melody, our HR Manager, and Ann, our Nurse Consultant, for their guidance, support, and hands-on training throughout this entire process. This wouldn’t have been possible without you both!

We are so proud of the focus, discipline, and passion each of them showed throughout this process. This is just the beginning—watch us keep leveling up! 💪✨

CarpeVITA’s Easter Egg Hunt this week was one for the books! 🐣💛

We had such an amazing time celebrating and showing appreciation for our incredible care providers. The energy was unmatched — fun, competitive, and full of surprises! From eggs filled with raises, cash, gift cards, and even scratch-offs, you never knew what you were going to find 👀🎉

This event was just a small way to say THANK YOU for the dedication, compassion, and hard work you bring every single day. You are the heart of what we do, and we appreciate you more than words can express.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did… because it definitely got intense out there! 😂🐰

Enjoy LIFE!!! Leave the Care to Us.

Robyn Sharp Mooney started CarpeVITA Home Care in Delaware in 2011 out of need that she saw in the community and with her own family & friends.

She retired from Christiana Imaging Center’s MRI Department after 10 years to own her own business. She purchased Hansel & Gretel in 1999, a long established high-end children’s clothing boutique in North Wilmington. Robyn ran the store for nearly 4 years, however, after an unfortunate car accident, she could no longer run the day-to-day operations, and she sold the store in 2002. After taking a few years to recover from the extensive injuries she sustained in the accident, Robyn began working as office management/salon coordinator at a local boutique hair and nail salon. It is there that her interest in the Home Health Care business began after the owner and her sister were diagnosed with brain cancer. Around the same time, Robyn’s father was diagnosed with tongue and colon cancer and she took a primary role in the care of her father during his battle with the disease. It was then when Robyn realized that there was a need in the community for an affordable and flexible option for those in need of some help with their loved ones. Her father in law became her first client, he was battling Parkinson’s Disease. Since then, Robyn has grown her small business from her home office to helping hundreds of families and now employs more than 125 Home Health Aides.

Robyn loves helping people and has always taken an active role in her community, volunteering for many organizations and has served as past President of the Board of Directors for Moms House in Wilmington, DE, where she served for nearly 10 years. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Delaware Association for Home and Community Care of DE.

Robyn married her high school sweetheart, has three grown children, three grandsons and has been a Delaware resident her entire life.
