I am a graduate of Cayce Reilly School of Massage in Virginia Beach, VA. I am trained and certified in an array of methods but specifically enjoy practicing Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Reiki. My approach to every massage starts with listening to your massage needs and goals. I bring a unique and integrative approach to each client that pulls from my orthopedic, spa and therapeutic body work experience. In my sessions, you’ll find that massages are intuitive, customized to your needs, grounding and restorative with spa-like elements using aromatherapy and/or heat pads. Client-centered care is the focus of my work in massage therapy. I discuss clients’ concerns, preferences, and desired outcomes at the outset of each session, and work with them to achieve their goals. I often give “homework” in the form of a small number of targeted stretches that enhance and extend the therapeutic benefits of the massage. I enjoy helping people understand the underlying causes of their aches and pains, and multi-faceted ways to reduce their symptoms. Whether you’re looking for chronic pain relief, body work transformation or relaxation I offer massage techniques that benefit everyone.

Life is dynamic, ever-changing. The same is true for us. So rather than get locked in a rigid mentality, listen to the whispers of your soul. Be self-aware of when things are changing, and allow yourself to flow with them. Paddling upstream will not take you very far, just make you exhausted. Instead give yourself permission to re-calibrate and realign with what is now true for you.

You have every right to change your mind. It does not make you weak, irresponsible, or unpredictable. Check in with your 3 brains: your heart, your head and your gut. You will know what you need to do.

There’s a whole lot happening in Newsoms on November 29th!! The Holiday Artisan Market will be kicking off at 10am on Main Street! The NVFD Craft Show is also happening at the Fire Station. And CUTE AS A BOW Toy Drive will be on site at the Artisan Market to wrap your purchases. There are raffles & extras happening at both locations! Meat on Main is planning something special coming off the grill! So come on out to our little town for some Holiday Cheer! And help support our local businesses on Small Business Saturday!
