The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that 47 children have died of the flu so far during the 2024-’25 season. Flu activity remains elevated and is increasing across the country, according to new data from the CDC.
It’s not too late to get your flu vaccine! AAP and CDC recommend everyone six months and older get vaccinated against flu. So far, 44.1% of U.S. children have been vaccinated for the flu which is down from 48.8% at the same time last year.
